This programme aims to prepare students with the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to become productive, accountable and responsible employees upon entering the work force. They will develop practical skills and critical awareness in relation to state-of-the-art business/enterprise systems integration. They will develop critical thinking, effective communication, problem-solving and innovative skills as well as developing soft skills to enable them to be confident and ready for employment in the workplace.

Objective

The programme educational objectives of this programme are as follows:

  • Knowledgeable and able to solve business-related problems in line with industry requirements
  • Effective in communication, demonstrate teamwork and good leadership to support their role in an organization
  • Able to practice ethical professionalism and social responsibility
  • Demonstrate entrepreneurial skills and recognize the need of lifelong learning for successful career development
Learning Outcomes

At the end of the end of the programme, graduates will be able to:

  • Explain and evaluate central concepts of intra- and inter-organisational enterprise information systems, especially regarding their functionality, use, and consequences
  • Analyse and design business and value models for individual organisations as well as networks of organisations with a focus on production, transformation and exchanges of resources
  • Analyse and design process models including actors, information, control flow, and resource aspects
  • Design and evaluate organisations and their business activities as well as information systems using enterprise modelling
  • Demonstrate computer literacy and effective oral and written communication skills applicable in the business environment
  • Practice interpersonal and team building skills and recognise a variety of leadership styles
  • Demonstrate entrepreneurial initiative and the ability to respond to change
  • Demonstrate an appreciation for life-long learning
Career Opportunities

This programme provides opportunities for graduates to occupy supervisory and executive positions in multiple departments specialising in the automotive retail industry such as junior developers and power users of Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”) systems.

Entry Requirements

1) Pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / O-Level with 3 credits in any subjects and pass in English; or

2) Pass in Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) with at least CGPA 2.00; or

3) Pass in Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 in a relevant field; AND
– Passed SPM with at least one credit;
– Further diploma programme in the same field;
– If necessary, the education providers should provide bridging programmes as the intensive programme; or

4) Other equivalent qualification recognized by the the Malaysian Government; AND

* For international students must score for Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) 500 or International English Language Testing Systems (IELTS) 6 or equivalent.
